Third time was a charm for this photo shoot, as the Minnesota Winter wasn't cooperating with us. February set all-time records at 39 inches of snow, 13 inches more than the previous record. The first time we had the shoot scheduled, I was so excited since we had a fresh blanket of snow, but that day, the winds were riduculously high at 40-50 mile per hour gusts. Something that makes controling hair impossible and photoshop can't fix! |
We scheduled the family photo session for the following weekend and ended up calling it off due to very cold temps and windchills which would take away the fun of the playful shoot. Finally! We got a beautiful day before the rain came in. Sunny and close to 40 degrees makes a perfect early spring day in Minneapolis. |
Off the coats came, because of course...we are die-hard Minnesotan's and the snow was melting, sun shining brightly! The snow was pretty deep so we stuck to the plowed paths and play. I adore this family! They jumped right into their playful banter and had fun with each other, running and playing ring around the rosey, tag and giving lots of hugs & kisses! |
And as the sun set in the early spring sky, the love this sweet little family showed to me was warm as the sunrays! I can't wait to see where their adventures in life take them and how the kids will grow up! The next time I see these two, they will be walking down the isle and becoming Husband and Wife! Thank you Tiffany and Nick for choosing me! You two are the Best! XOXO Jen |
