On a beautiful Spring afternoon, Angela and Wayne joined their families together, bonding them forever. Set in the stunning Historic Minneapolis City Hall, surrounded by gorgeous Italian Marble, this lovely couple tied the knot! Grab a cup of coffee and join us for a stroll back to the Roaring 20's with this beautiful Minneapolis Wedding! |
As the Bride and Groom and their families entered, I could see their eyes widen as they too, saw the beautiful building in its entirety. I felt like I had stepped back in time as the girls strolled in with their 1920's elaborately beaded flapper dressess and guys in their bow ties and suspenders. I knew it would be a special wedding day for Angela and Wayne.
The Ceremony
The Bride and Groom chose to keep the wedding simple and sweet, as they stepped up the first landing of the sweeping staircase. Surrounded by the warm glow of marble. Katie, the officiant, smiled and welomed them to join hands as the ceremony began. Family and friends looked on as these two looked deeply into each others eyes. |
Built in 1888, the Historic Minneapolis City Hall still is the center of Minneapolis Government. I could just imagine what this building was like back in the 20's, filled with the hustle and bustle of beautiful people, coming and going, to take care of their business in downtown Minneapolis. Dressed in their suits and fancy dresses and topped with the latest trendy hats. Country folks coming to this building had to have had the "wow" factor that we all felt as well. What a sight they were! Angela's elaborately beaded dress and feather adorning her wavy, short red hair. Wayne dressed dapperly in his pin stripped suit, smiling and looking into her eyes. |
Family
I loved that the whole family got into the wedding theme of Roaring 20's and all the girls had beautiful flapper dresses. We made sure to get Wayne & Angela and their newly joined family. Jasmine, Collin, Riley and Raena gathered around their parents to show their excitement. Even showing me a little flapper sass when I asked for it! How perfect their big day was! |
