Meet Dave (My Sister's Brother-in-law) and His family...His Wife, Michelle, and Emily and Jacob. Parent's of two teenagers, Emily who is such a sweet, fun and chatty young lady. Jacob, a soft spoken guy, keeps to himself most of the time that I'm around. I saw them right after Christmas and asked Emily if she got everything she wanted. She quickly said Yep! "So what did you ask for?" I replied, to which she said "Black clothes" with a laugh from both Emily and her Dad, as she stood with a black t-shirt on with a skull. Michelle then responded that Emily would be changing out of her skull shirt and putting on a dress. I love it! She reminds me so much of me when I was her age. |
As we cleared out a few things near the couch, I noticed that there was a big, long box. Jacob grabbed one end and I the other. Realizing it was a telescope, Jacob said they had gotten it as a Christmas Present but hadn't had a chance to use it yet. Can't wait to go visit again and have them show me how it works! Maybe a bonfire night! |
You may notice a little guy in some of these pictures...well, that is my neiphew, Lucas. Such a cutie huh? I had to make sure to take some photos of the cousins, since they have lived next door to each other since he was born. My kids, also his cousins, are quite a bit older and a few of them off living on their own now, don't get to see Lucas as much. |
Meet Mike and Keisa (My little Sister) and Lucas. Mike and Keisa have been together...well, what seems like forever. I really don't remember any of Keisa's adult life without Mike. They dated for 10 years before they got married and she hadn't ever really thought to have kids. And then our Mom got sick with stomach cancer and she decided that if she was going to have a baby, she wanted Mom to be able to spend time with the baby. |
So into their lives came this little squirt! And has turned their world upside down. I always knew Keisa would be a great Mom and when she was in Elementary School she always swore she would have 100 kids. But one...just one changed her life. I love seeing Mike and Keisa as parents and can't imagine them without Lucas now! |
He is so much fun to have around and such a giggly, silly little prankster! Did I mention he is strong willed too...I think he gets that from Keisa! He always comes over to our house and immediately wants to see the dogs. I think Lucas loves to see Sully since he is right at his eye level and just so darn big! Lucas is in Kindergarten and goes to a Chinese school, but he has yet to speak any Chinese for me, and his shyness takes over and he runs away. I love being an Auntie and seeing him grow and blossom into an amazingly adorable kiddo! And How could you not love this face??? |
